ABOUT NVL D.O.O.

NVL d.o.o. is the Croatian subsidiary of NVL Group.

NVL stands for Naval Vessels Lürssen and is an independent, privately owned group of renowned northern German shipyards and related companies, formerly known as Lürssen Defence. NVL Group provides customised, smart and cost-effective naval solutions that keep navies mission-ready around the world.

The group's headquarters are located in Bremen, Germany, and has a strong heritage. Together, the shipyards of NVL Group have completed more than 1,000 naval and coastguard vessels since their beginnings in the late 1870s, and have built and repaired ships for both the German Navy and fleets in over 50 countries. In addition to designing and manufacturing naval vessels and coastguard vessels, NVL Group also provides extensive lifetime support through NVL Services. NVL Group's reputation for high quality stems from long-standing shipbuilding expertise, outstanding engineering skills, a carefully selected supplier network and the commitment devoted to each and every ship.

The NVL office in Rijeka was established as the first step in building a defence export business in Croatia with the aim of actively working on defence projects and to gradually build up the capabilities and capacities from the foundation to be able to meet complex market demands for international customers.
